Après avoir réservé son folk festif aux jams entre amis, l’auteur-compositeur-
interprète Thomas Folly nous fait l’immense plaisir de partager son art
au reste du Québec. Ce natif de Saint-Gédéon au Lac-Saint-Jean présente
aujourd’hui un premier extrait original, l’enthousiaste « KM12 ».
En compagnie de son fidèle banjo, Thomas Folly s’amène avec une chanson
de balcon qui raconte la fameuse légende du Km 12. Pour la petite histoire, le
KM12 est un gin de la Distillerie du Fjord de Saint-David de Falardeau, créé
par son ami d’enfance Jean-Philippe Bouchard. Le single réunit les passions
respectives de ces deux grands chums.
Avec cette chanson à boire aux saveurs boréales, cet artiste authentique nous
donne ici un avant-goût (sans arrière-goût !) de son savoir-faire, pas si loin du
groove de Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project ou de Bernard Adamus.
